My goal for this afternoon was simple: write 500 words of my dissertation.

How many have I written? Zero.

Instead I've written 1,000 words for my chapter of the the Five Years Later round robin fic.  Sheesh. 

I'm very excited about this whole round robin project.  I get to write the first chapter after the prologue and I got inspired and it's almost done.  It has a fun cliffhanger and everything.
