Okay, so I watched the season premiere of The Office and...

Oh, and I was really happy that people enjoyed my Chuck fanfic!  Thanks to everyone that left me a review. :)  This is my first time writing so soon after getting into a fandom and it was fun.  Plus, it was Chuck/Sarah (quite possibly the first fic for them in existence) and they're so adorable.  They're my newest ship.  *g*

I might change the name of the fic though.  I always do that, post something and then want to switch the name.  Oh well.

"What is a leader?  I asked Jim that and he said he'd never heard the word before.  In America.  In 2007.
He said he knew the word ladder.  What an ignoramus."
- Dwight Schrute

I love the deleted scenes in The Office with my whole heart.  The Office has the best deleted scenes out of any show, in my opinion.  It's sort of like getting extra episodes.  What with moments like Angela keying Andy's car and Michael accusing Andy of having a crush on Dwight, it's great.  There are a lot of awesome moments with the minor characters.

Just meet me in the breakroom
In ten..

So as part of my procrastinating, I'm going to share one of my fav new songs with you.  It's from Sweet Diss and the Comebacks and it's called "Dunder and Dwightning."  That's right, it's a song based on The Office!  And the band is providing it as a free download, so lucky us.

This fanvid was where I first discovered the song:

And here's the download link:

For all you Office fans, NBC put up a new video of what the Office employees did during summer vacation.  It's hilarious and I'm so excited for the new season!  Warning, the video is basically one big spoiler.  It's amazing though *g*

So many random fandom-y things to say.

First off, I finished watching Bedford Diaries.  Is it wrong that I want to rewatch it from the beginning now?  If I do end up doing so, I'll make sure to post up episode reactions because I always think those are fun.  I know it's not a great show, but I definitely enjoyed it.

It turns out that I was so into BD that I decided I had to get the theme song.  I actually ended up purchasing it on iTunes (me buying music? I know!) and am listening to it right now.  It's called Weight of Gold by Jeremy Kay.

While I was looking for the name of the song I stumbled across a Richard/Natalie BD fanvid here.  I may look to see if there are any BD vids on YouTube later.  I don't know who I would've wanted to end up with who on that show, though, as they kept almost any possibility open.  It was definitely a shippers' paradise.

Also, I don't know if it was just me (probably was), but Milo's hair in one part of episode 7 made me laugh because it looked like he was going for a messy John Sheppard of SGA look

In other news of my favorite shows combining:
I swear, I love how all my fav shows keep becoming more interconnected.

Last, but not least, here's an article in the L.A. times about "beta males" being the new fashion trendsetters.  "Why does she even care about that?" you may ask.  It's because they interview Milo Ventimiglia :)  In the article, I learn that he always carries a pen around with him (which although a minor detail, I think is totally cool because I always make sure I have one with me as well).  Also, there's a great quote about the two personal fashion choices he made on Heroes:

"As Peter Petrelli, I made two conscious decisions. One was to pop my collar up in episode nine right before my character saves the cheerleader. The second was in the season finale when I take my jacket off to beat the shit out of the bad guy."

*cheers at his awesomeness*

Hey everyone, I made my first fanmix (with cover art and everything!)  It's a Pam Beesly Season 3 fanmix about the things she struggled with in the aftermath of Casino Night that helped her become the woman we saw in Beach Games.  I hope you like it!

The last episode of The Office was amazing and definitely the high point of season 3.

I just read a hilarious story by

[info]mandysbitch that's a Heroes/The Office crossover and I'm in love with it because it made me laugh and it features my two favorite shows (plus, there's a BSG reference).

You Don't Have To Be A Superhero To Work Here, But It Helps

I am so glad that The Office is on an upswing.  I just watched the newest episode and it had a bunch of great moments.  Michael, of course, kept causing me to ask, "What is he thinking?" but I did love how they used so many of the minor characters in this episode.  I feel like they never use those characters to their full potential, so I'm glad they got some stuff to do this episode.  Kelly, Creed, Angela, Kevin, and Oscar all had some entertaining onscreen moments.  Gotta love the air high five.  Plus, the whole Jim/Dwight switch was classic.
