Hey flist,

I really loved that Chuck made a Stakeout mix CD in the last episode and decided to start putting together my own mix with the one song we heard from Chuck's - "Private Eyes" by Hall and Oates - and other ones that I thought would fit.  I have about ten songs so far, but I thought I'd ask for suggestions in case anyone had any great spying/stalking/stakeout type songs that they'd want to recommend.  Even if you don't watch the show but have some ideas, let me know!  I'll be sure to share after I finish.

Thanks.  :)

If you're working nine to five
And you can't get out alive
Just meet me in the breakroom
In ten..

So as part of my procrastinating, I'm going to share one of my fav new songs with you.  It's from Sweet Diss and the Comebacks and it's called "Dunder and Dwightning."  That's right, it's a song based on The Office!  And the band is providing it as a free download, so lucky us.

This fanvid was where I first discovered the song:

And here's the download link:

So many random fandom-y things to say.

First off, I finished watching Bedford Diaries.  Is it wrong that I want to rewatch it from the beginning now?  If I do end up doing so, I'll make sure to post up episode reactions because I always think those are fun.  I know it's not a great show, but I definitely enjoyed it.

It turns out that I was so into BD that I decided I had to get the theme song.  I actually ended up purchasing it on iTunes (me buying music? I know!) and am listening to it right now.  It's called Weight of Gold by Jeremy Kay.

While I was looking for the name of the song I stumbled across a Richard/Natalie BD fanvid here.  I may look to see if there are any BD vids on YouTube later.  I don't know who I would've wanted to end up with who on that show, though, as they kept almost any possibility open.  It was definitely a shippers' paradise.

Also, I don't know if it was just me (probably was), but Milo's hair in one part of episode 7 made me laugh because it looked like he was going for a messy John Sheppard of SGA look

In other news of my favorite shows combining:
I swear, I love how all my fav shows keep becoming more interconnected.

Last, but not least, here's an article in the L.A. times about "beta males" being the new fashion trendsetters.  "Why does she even care about that?" you may ask.  It's because they interview Milo Ventimiglia :)  In the article, I learn that he always carries a pen around with him (which although a minor detail, I think is totally cool because I always make sure I have one with me as well).  Also, there's a great quote about the two personal fashion choices he made on Heroes:

"As Peter Petrelli, I made two conscious decisions. One was to pop my collar up in episode nine right before my character saves the cheerleader. The second was in the season finale when I take my jacket off to beat the shit out of the bad guy."

*cheers at his awesomeness*
